If it didn&#39;t, it wouldn&#39;t be in the public eye. Dockers doesn&#39;t sell women&#39;s clothing, does it? No bother.<br /><br />As for the notion that men are less manly today than yesterday, it&#39;s all in the eye of the beholder. Too many men in our society don&#39;t develop their masculine nature, and instead become irresponsible &#39;man-children,&#39; neglecting their role as protector/provider of the family unit. This instead leaves their spouses or girlfriends as the sole responsible party, in effect caring for an additional child. The Dockers ad, though perhaps just a clever way to sell pants, calls men to a higher standard. It&#39;s a message many men need to hear. I like the idea of a man being a man and not a boy. There seems to be a shortage of those these days. However, I have always wondered why there is a conflict between being a man and some of the things the Docker ad mentions.
