Very sad column pleading for excommunication

This is sad. An Irish Catholic, mother, judge in Illinois, asking for excommunication because she's fed up with a Church "whose leaders protect pedophiles" but finds it too painful just to walk away.

She needs to read this column by Greg Erlandson.
