When I first started watching this French video clip, I wasn't sure what to expect -- or even what it was about. Hand-held camera, unusual angles, quick cuts from one person and place to another. It could have been a music video or the latest trailer for a new indie film. Wrong. It is a video that promotes the priesthood in the most understated and positive ways. When the video is over, it provides a link: www.mavocation.org, which is a project of several dioceses in France, including the Diocese of Paris. The video, along with two others that focus on different aspects of the priesthood, are available for viewing on dailymotion.com.
