"In the Vatican Observatory’s annual report, at the point where a corporation might describe its business strategy, is a section delineating the difference between creatio ex nihilo (creation from nothing) and creatio continua: “the fact that at every instant, the continued existence of the universe itself is deliberately willed by God, who in this way is continually causing the universe to remain created.”

Is it possible that the vatican knows something we don't know? Like a prophecy of a meteor hitting earth or Jesus visibly coming through space. Its exciting. By Rob Epperly, author, Sons of Thunder the Story of Joe and Paul.
I have known about the observatory for a long time. But then again, I live in Tucson, AZ and occasionally go to Mass at the Newman Center, which is right across the street! =)
Father Malachi Martin, in an interview with Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM mentions the observatory and speaks to a prophecy but will not elaborate. Art simply says "I think I undersatnd and know where that is going." Granted the Catholic Church has every right and duty to explore the origins of time to try and make some sense of it all but if one really thinks about Revelation it is probablly a good bet that God's eventual chastisement will come from the sky. Thats why I signed up for the Vatican Observatory newsletter!! (LOL)
