A new kind of discrimination
Embryonic stem cell research is the next anti-life item likely to come up on the new adminstration's agenda to ease or eradicate restrictions that protect unborn babies. Father Tadeusz Pacholczyk, education director for the National Catholic Bioethics Center, charges that President Obama, who campaigned on the idea of equality for all, will be discriminating against "an entire class of humans" through "targeted destruction" when he rolls back federal funding restrictions placed on embryonic stem cell research by the Bush administration.
