Hurry up and wait

The media center at the New York Sheraton was buzzing at 6 a.m. today. One round of secret service screening began for the folks heading to the pope's Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral -- the first time a pope has ever celebrated Mass at the famous Gothic-style cathedral in midtown Manhattan -- while another was set to begin for the first batch of reporters and TV crews heading to St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers for the youth rally, which doesn't begin until 5 p.m. Around 10 a.m the next round of reporters will be screened and packed on buses for the trip to Yonkers. It will be a busy day, but we will have full coverage of all the events. Check back soon.
